Description
Dear Black Girl, has life had you in a chokehold, feeling exhausted, lacking motivation, anxious, or detached? i3b's (Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion, and Belonging) IDEAList peer educators are facilitating a dialogue with the purpose to educate and empower, highlighting the reality that we are all experiencing this phenomenon–burnout. When we understand and have the language to discuss our shared experiences, we have the opportunity to better advocate for one another and ourselves.
While this dialogue is focused on burnout experienced by Black femmes, community members of all identities are welcome to join us on Tuesday, November 8th in Room Meyerhoff 010 from 5pm-6:30 pm for music and a thoughtful, powerful discussion!
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
― Audre Lorde
